Responsibilities Develop detailed mechanical job plans, work packages and task lists for maintenance, turnaround, or project activities Conduct field walkdowns to verify scope, identify constraints and ensure constructability Identify required labour, materials, tools, permits and equipment Build BOM and coordinate with supply chain for delivery Sequence work to maximize tool time and minimize equipment downtime Coordinate with site stakeholders to validate scope Support schedule development by providing accurate duration and crew estimates Assist with scope change requests during execution and provide onsite planning support Qualifications Red Seal Mechanical Trade ticket preferred or will consider a mechanical engineering diploma with site experience 5 10 years of mechanical planning experience in a petro chemical or heavy industrial sites Proficiency with CMMS software (SAP) and planning tools Able to read engineering drawings and able to interpret technical specifications PreAccess Drug and Alcohol testing Required Safety tickets CSTS 2020 Working Conditions Working at heights Working in a confined space Working in and around noise and dust Working both indoors and outdoors in hot and cold weather conditions Must be clean shaven Personal safety equipment will be required, e.g. steeltoed safety boots Physical Requirements Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs; occasionally lift items weighing more than 50 lbs. with assistance Stand or walk for long periods of time Use arms and hands to reach for, handle or manipulate objects Climb up and down ladders, scaffolds and other objects #J-18808-Ljbffr
