Responsibilities About this role- The Corporate Analyst is responsible for assisting with the development of all reporting within the Canadian Operation. This team member will help output Sales, Credit, Servicing, Finance, Customer Experience, Remarketing and CDN Protection Product related reporting to intended parties. In addition, the incumbent will be involved with analyzing portfolio trends and providing strategic data support to various product development initiatives. The analyst will gather data from various sources while exercising confidentiality in all aspects. This individual will also play a key role in utilizing advance reporting software such as IBM Cognos, SAS, Visual Dashboarding as well as Salesforce and other Cloud applications. In this role you will- Develop and deliver reports using Excel, Cognos, Salesforce, SQL, SAS, and EDW to track volume, originations, and performance by Dealer, DRM, and Region. Create and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and strategic reports supporting Sales, Credit, Finance, Servicing, CX, Remarketing, and CDN Protection Products. Prepare recurring reports including Dealer Performance, Lease Penetration, Carline, Pricing, Protection Product enrollment/claims, and Demographic reports. Support Monthly Executive, Investor, GMF Reporting Packages, and maintain the Canadian Reporting Center. Produce Remarketing analytics including projections, return rates, and gains/losses. Perform data mining, market trend analysis, and portfolio reviews to support short and longterm strategies and new product initiatives. Provide strategic insights and recommendations across Sales, Credit, Funding, Servicing, CX, Finance, Remarketing, and Protection Products. Assist with automation, process improvements, system integrations, testing, and data management. Build and maintain industry dashboards, retention trackers, residual trending, and pricing models. Partner crossfunctionally and communicate insights clearly to internal teams, GM Oshawa, GMF Texas, and thirdparty vendors. Support ad hoc analysis, special projects, and operational reporting needs while ensuring accuracy and adherence to reporting guidelines. Qualifications What makes You an ideal candidate? Experience 2 years of experience in a similar role Experience in data analysis, data mining, statistic, and forecasting and loan portfolio analysis Automotive Finance, Data Reporting and Analytics, Leasing or Retail Finance experience preferred Experience with Cognos, SAS, Salesforce and Excel dashboards preferred Postsecondary degree or diploma required.
