Leverage your organizational skills to manage supplier relationships and inventory effectively. This role involves procuring materials required to meet production schedules, balancing lead times while adhering to purchasing policies. With a focus on maintaining inventory levels, you will collaborate with multiple departments such as Production and Supply Chain, to ensure the seamless flow of operations. Strong experience in purchasing and proficiency in MRP/ERP systems are crucial for success in this position. Key Responsibilities: Analyze material needs based on production forecasts Create and manage purchase orders in MRP/ERP systems Monitor supplier performance and address delivery issues Identify and resolve material availability challenges Support inventory management across storage locations Requirements: High School Diploma; post-secondary education preferred Previous manufacturing purchasing experience is essential Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Utilize your expertise in procurement to support efficient plant operations and minimize material shortages in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. #J-18808-Ljbffr
