The successful applicant will be scheduled to work 3240 hours per week, including weekdays, weekends, and a combination of AM and PM shift times. Working with the Grocery Manager, you will help lead the grocery team by example, providing exceptional customer service and building a positive team environment. Set the team up for success each day by prioritizing daily tasks and providing direction to team members when needed. Give a warm hello! to our customers as they enter the department we like building connections with new and regular customers and sharing a laugh along the way. Assist with giving direction during shifts and be a goto for team members questions, training, and grocery expertise. Assist customers with questions about products we offer and give suggestions based on their needs (you will be trained for this). If a team member is unsure how to answer a customer, you will jump in to share your knowledge. Use your creativity and eye for detail to create attractive and organized displays. Learn about new products and featured items on sale through Natures Fares flyers and magazines. In short, you will help others, lead the team, share your knowledge, stay safe, be a great team player, and have fun. What We Are Looking For Experience in a grocery and/or retail environment is preferred but not required. Minimum of 1 year of experience leading a team. Experience in a customer service role is required. A passion for local, organic, and sustainable food and natural supplements. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Strong work ethic and desire to contribute to peoples health and wellbeing. Ability to work in an energetic, fastpaced environment. Like to have fun!
