Mandatory in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Friday Remote optional days are on Wednesday and Thursday About the Role Tiller is looking for an Art Director to shape the creative direction behind the brands, websites, and marketing creative we build for ambitious B2B SaaS companies. As Art Director, you will guide the visual and design direction across client engagements from brand identity and high-performing websites to campaign creative and sales enablement assets. You will work closely with strategists, designers, copywriters, and developers to ensure every creative output not only looks exceptional but drives measurable business results. Reporting to the Head of Design, you will mentor designers, shape creative strategy, and ensure the highest level of quality across all design deliverables. Through mentorship, set up the designers for success providing creative direction, reviews, and actionable feedback. Define and lead design direction across branding, websites, campaigns, and marketing assets (digital and print), such as: Advocate for the clients business goals and ensure creative work supports project outcomes. Walk clients through creative solutions, presenting concepts clearly by engaging them in the process. Contribute to creative workshops, lead collaborative ideation sessions, and conduct brand interviews. Contribute to design process improvements and team development. You may be fit for this role if you: Have 7+ years experience in brand, web, and digital design in an agency or SaaS environment. Have a strong portfolio that showcases design direction across branding, websites, and marketing creative. Enjoy engaging with clients and presenting work with solid rationale, keeping goals and objectives in mind. Have proven experience in strategic brainstorming, concept development, creative brief development, mentorship, and design execution. Bring a strong perspective on how AI and emerging technologies enhance and evolve the creative process. Have advanced expertise with Figma and creating UI designs, design systems, UI kits, and prototypes. Have advanced expertise with Adobe Creative Cloud and creating logos, brand guides, and print collateral. Have hands-on experience using AI to support design workflows, applying strong creative and strategic thinking to ensure the work drives meaningful outcomes. Thrive in collaborative environments working with project teams, designers, copywriters, and developers. Have strong communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate creative ideas and rationale both verbally and in written form. Value continuous improvement for yourself and your teammates. Can work effectively remotely and in office. Note: this is an in-office position where we have a hybrid of in-office and work from home days. Compensation The base salary range for this position will be commensurate with the skills and experience of the successful candidate. We review compensation annually against external data to stay competitive with similar agency roles in Albertas market.
