Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Accountant to support our client with fullcycle accounting across multiple operating and property entities based in Vaughan, ON. This role requires strong technical accounting expertise, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a handson, evolving environment. This role partners closely with operations to ensure accurate financial reporting and alignment with business performance. Responsibilities Manage fullcycle accounting for multiple operating and property companies. Prepare financial statements, monthend close activities, account reconciliations, journal entries, and yearend audit support. Oversee payroll processing, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements. Manage lease accounting, fixed asset registers, and capital expenditure tracking. Produce accurate financial reporting, including variance analysis and performance insights for leadership. Maintain internal controls and ensure consistent application of accounting standards. Support budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management. Liaise with external auditors, lenders, and regulatory bodies as needed. Collaborate with operations to align financial processes with club activities, facilities, and overall business performance. Qualifications CPA designation required. 3-5+ years of experience in fullcycle accounting, ideally in real estate, hospitality, recreation, or multientity environments. Strong knowledge of payroll, lease accounting, and financial controls. High attention to detail with strong technical accounting proficiency.
