Downtown AutoGroup is seeking a committed Payroll Administrator to join our dynamic team at our brand new, state-of-the-art Autoplex facility in Downtown Toronto! We need a Payroll Administrator who can keep the cycle moving, keep employee records tight, and make sure day-to-day payroll is accurate, consistent, and audit-ready. This role is for someone who enjoys ownership: reconciling what matters, spotting issues early, partnering with Finance and Operations to fix root causes, and helping the team maintain a reliable payroll engine. Heres what you''ll be doing You''ll be the backbone of our dealership payroll operations, executing full-cycle payroll across a diverse and growing workforce. You''ll help keep our people paid correctly and on time, ensure accuracy day-to-day, and build the experience you need to grow into a senior payroll position over time. Processing full-cycle payroll on a semi-monthly basis Maintaining and updating employee personal and payroll records Handling employee onboarding and terminations in payroll systems Reconciling payroll data and assisting with payroll-related journal entries Managing employee benefits setup and payroll deductions Preparing payroll reports and supporting year-end processes, including T4s Responding to employee payroll and HR-related queries in a timely and professional manner Coordinating with HR and Accounting teams to ensure accurate and complete information flow This job description indicates the general nature and level of work expected.
