Position Title: Manager Store Automated Ordering Job Requisition ID: 47393 Banner: Metro Employment Type: Temporary The typical salary range for this position is $88,740.00 - $103,530.00 annually. The base salary offered will be determined based on the candidates job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity considerations. This posting is for an existing temporary full-time backfill ending on April 30th, 2027. Summary This individual will need to possess strong business partnering skills, as well as strong leadership skills as this is a key position on the Supply Chain management team. The position is responsible for planning and monitoring the Store Automated Ordering Team which supports banners in Ontario and Quebec. This position is responsible for data integrity, process re-engineering, training & development and compliance standards of the Store Ordering system. This role will also be responsible for the strategy and management of store inventory forecasting and ensuring accurate inventory to support sales and margin requirements. This is achieved by integrating demand and supply core planning functions (merchandising, replenishment and logistics) creating agreed-upon fulfillment plans and contingencies, and providing end-to-end visibility, through analytics and reporting. Specific Responsibilities Create and maintain accurate Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for all ordering functions and processes that impact store ordering Develop improvement processes and systems to ensure sufficient on-shelf availability for customers, while ensuring optimal inventory, minimize costs and maximize working capital. Creation and management of KPI''s to monitor and identify root cause issues and solutions to ensure accurate inventory forecast and shipment to stores. Partner with leadership team to implement and evaluate business strategies and initiatives that support short term and long-term vision, financial strategy and direction in supply chain. Collaborative approach to problem solving and the ability to work with cross-functional teams at all levels Proactively develop and direct the implementation of new tools, processes and best practices to improve business performance Provide guidance and counsel in the development of plans involving the transformation of supply chain operating models in regards to store inventory. Perform effectiveness evaluation of current control standards; communicate results and develop recommendations for continuous improvement. Support in analytics & process execution. Work alongside the logistics team to capture and monitor store inventory and identify long, med and short-term capacity/supply concerns. Work with both merchandising and logistics teams to develop remediation and contingency plans Management and coordination of personnel including but not limited to; hiring, performance management, orientation, assignment and distribution of workflow for team within Ontario and Quebec. Identify and execute initiatives to optimize the flow of goods throughout the network from end-to-end, ensuring store service is protected, network capacities are balanced, and operational cost optimized. Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering or Business is preferred 5-7 years of experience in grocery retail management including supply chain. Advanced analytical skills, including database application skills Financial acumen coupled with strong critical thinking Excellent time management and organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experienced in Advanced Project Management Skills Work weekends as necessary Travel within both Ontario and Quebec provinces on a monthly basis as required Bilingual in French and English is desired Relationships Direct Reports 2 FT Sr. Replenishment Analysts Indirect Reports 5 FT Replenishment Analysts The responsibilities and relationships assigned to this role may change as is necessary to achieve Metro''s business objectives. #J-18808-Ljbffr
