Virden Mainline Motors is currently seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Automotive Parts Associate to join our dealership team. This role supports both shop technicians and retail customers, playing a key part in keeping our service department running efficiently and our customers well looked after. Previous parts or dealership experience is considered an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Assist service technicians and retail customers with parts and accessory requests Identify correct parts by asking the right questions and understanding customer needs Provide knowledgeable, friendly service in person and over the phone Inventory & Ordering Monitor parts inventory and assist with ordering to maintain adequate stock levels Identify parts that are in stock, need re-ordering, or require special ordering Research part availability within the dealership or from external suppliers Obtain accurate information for special orders and ensure correct parts are received Inventory Accuracy & Organization Assist the Parts Manager in resolving inventory discrepancies Locate parts efficiently using part numbers and bin locations Understand seasonal parts demands and recall-related requirements Recognize sales opportunities by recommending related parts or services when appropriate Communicate effectively with all dealership departments to support daily operations Proactively contact customers to provide updates or gather information when required Requirements General understanding of automotive systems (or a strong willingness to learn) Comfortable using computer-based inventory systems Strong communication skills (in person and by phone) Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage workflow independently Team-oriented with a customer-first mindset Valid driver''s license Previous automotive parts or dealership experience is an asset Compensation Starting from $20.00 per hour Competitive commission structure Benefits Extended health benefits Pension plan Disability, life, and vision insurance Company events & quarterly outings Family discounts Opportunity to work with one of rural Manitoba''s largest volume dealers Dental care Extended health care On-site parking Paid time off How to Apply Email your resume or apply in person! #J-18808-Ljbffr
