This posting is for the ongoing hiring for several Loomex positions, primarily in Eastern and Northern Ontario. All roles require the applicant to be legally entitled to work in Canada. All roles are onsite positions and may require the candidate to either be able to commute daily, and if necessary, relocate; or may be a camp position that would require them to reliably commute to a pickup location to access the site. The wage range for these roles is $2530 depending on site location, level of responsibility and candidate experience. What youll do Report to an assigned supervisor and follow established work instructions Provide professional and responsive customer service to airport users and visitors Carry out daily inspections of airport grounds, paved areas, and operating surfaces to ensure safe conditions Operate and maintain maintenance vehicles and equipment used for seasonal activities such as snow removal, grass cutting, and general grounds upkeep Monitor site conditions, manage wildlife hazards, and support emergency response activities as required Follow established safety, regulatory, and operational procedures in the delivery of maintenance and emergency response programs Perform aircraft refuelling and provide general ground support services when required, including directing aircraft and handling baggage or cargo Take part in workplace safety programs, inspections, and compliance activities Provide basic operational guidance and escort services in restricted areas when required Support site security measures and follow required reporting and communication procedures Perform and document routine repairs and maintenance to buildings, equipment, and property Complete minor preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment, electrical components, and tools in a safe and responsible manner Attend and participate in required training, safety meetings, and skill development programs Assist with emergency situations, planned events, and securityrelated activities Safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment as part of daily duties What youll bring to the table Eligibility to work in Canada Grade 12 secondary school education or equivalent Clean Criminal Record Check Ability to work independently or as part of a team Full Requirements vary by role and may include Valid Ontario Gclass, AZ, DZ drivers licenses and clean drivers abstract Criminal Record Check Level 2 Ability to work extended hours during weather events and emergencies Capable of lifting up to 30kg Working in extreme temperatures Communication skills, written and verbal, to respond to customers and to interpret instructions and procedural manuals Basic computer skills Ability to analyze situations in order to problemsolve effectively Heavy Equipment operation and maintenance knowledge (421A/310T is an asset) Qualifications considered an asset Certificates and qualifications vary by role and may include: TP312E course or equivalent experience Knowledge of CARs Part III Aerodromes Airport operations training or aviation management coursework Restricted Aeronautical Radiotelephone Operators License (ROCA) A pilots license or ground school knowledge Previous aviation experience Firearms Possession and Acquisition Permit Current CPR and First Aid training Chainsaw Certification Heavy equipment operators certificate General construction skills Equipment Maintenance Certification (421A or 310T) Working conditions Specific conditions will vary for each job site and position title and may include: Sites are in Eastern and Northern Ontario Accommodation and meals are provided for camp/flyinflyout roles Schedules vary with each position as per the site and job requirements: 812 hour days depending on shift cadence Some evening, morning and weekend work Availability to work overtime, as requested Additional benefits may include Annual clothing, boot and safety gear allowances Health Spending Allowance Travel or fuel allowances Additional Training Programs How to apply This requisition is intended to collect applications for future opportunities.
