Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Electrical Field Engineer & Quality Assurance Projects to support construction activities at our clients site in Fort McMurray, AB. This combined role provides fieldbased electrical engineering support and quality assurance oversight, ensuring construction activities are executed safely, in compliance with design, codes, quality standards, and project requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with contractors, construction and project teams, engineering, and commissioning groups to support project delivery and turnover. Location: Fort McMurray, AB Shift: 8x6 day shift rotation, return flights from Calgary or Edmonton hubs and camp accommodation provided Job type: Temporary | Full-time Heres why you should apply: Paid weekly accurate and on time Strong health and safety programs Medical and dental benefits once qualified Free training programsNew and quicker onboarding process Responsibilities: Safety & Regulatory Compliance Actively participate in company safety programs including Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHA), Critical Control Assurance (CCA), and contractor safety meetings Apply company, industrial, and jobspecific requirements practically to construction activities Promote and support a strong safety culture across all site activities Electrical Engineering & Field Support Respond promptly to field inquiries, RFIs, and Field Change Notices (FCNs) with practical and constructible solutions Perform field visits for problem analysis, coordination with contractors and company construction teams, vendors, and the Engineer of Record Complete engineering calculations and technical evaluations as required Review and approve electrical shop drawings and technical submittals Assist construction contractors with interpretation of drawings, specifications, and electrical code requirements Support the overall projects team in achieving key milestones Construction & Work Package Support Support construction teams in developing Work Packages, including scope definition and provision of technical data for fieldissued contracts Review engineering and construction work packages for errors or omissions and translate findings into placeholders within the turnover management system Quality Assurance & Quality Control Review Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and other QA documentation in a timely manner Perform progressive review of QA exhibits generated by contractor personnel Witness field activities as defined in disciplinespecific ITPs Initiate NonConformance Reports (NCRs) when required Conduct audits and quality surveillance to verify adherence to project, industry, and jobspecific requirements Review contractor construction quality procedures Perform progressive inspections to identify deficiencies and communicate corrective actions to contractors Completion & Turnover Lead Installation Work Package (IWP), construction, and final walkdowns to identify and record deficiencies Support closure of deficiencies through technical guidance and supplemental field verification Review redline documentation to verify completeness and alignment with field construction and approved project changes Review final project turnover packages to ensure documentation accuracy and completeness Participate in mechanical completion and the transfer of care, custody, and control Review and close out FCNs, DCNs, and NCRs Qualifications and Skills: Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registered in Alberta, with the ability to authenticate professional work products Electrical background with familiarity with CEC and NFPA codes and standards Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams Strong communication, coordination, and relationshipbuilding skills Ability to provide practical, fieldbased solutions in a construction environment Contractor field coordinators, foremen, superintendents, and QA personnel Contractor construction management teams Project management teams Project commissioning teams and owner representatives Engineer of Record for coordination of design and constructability solutions Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada #J-18808-Ljbffr
