Job Description

Mountain West Studios (MWS) is a leading provider of school portraits in Western Canada. We proudly serve elementary, secondary and postsecondary schools from our head office and lab in Burnaby, B.C. We are looking for an Account Manager to join our team in the Lower Mainland. This is a fulltime position reporting to the Client Partnership Manager. Responsibilities Take photos efficiently that meet customer needs and the companys quality standards, maximizing sales and account retention. Oversee and facilitate the execution of photography events, ensuring quality, customer experience and smooth operations for administrators, staff, students and families. Schedule photographers and event staff to ensure proper coverage. Mentor, train and evaluate photographers. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment or other issues on site to minimize disruption. Collaborate with the Director of Client Partnerships and Territory Managers to align processes and maximize resources. Prepare for events by setting up equipment, scouting locations, and briefing the team. Travel to various event locations as required. Address onsite issues promptly, including scheduling conflicts, technical problems or customer concerns. Provide exceptional customer service, sell the MWS brand and products, and grow the business in line with company vision and goals; work with the sales manager to expand the customer base. Maintain accurate and detailed records in the company database on accounts and prospects. Handle school inquiries regarding photo dates, program information, and services. Manage school complaints and requests in conjunction with the customer care team. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of accountmanagement experience (school photography or education sector preferred). Experience or volunteering with primary/intermediate and highschool students (e.g., dance teacher, sports coach, camp counsellor). College diploma or equivalent. Technical inclination and ability to learn photography skills; experience with volume photography is an asset. Reliable transportation and ability to travel to schools in both urban and remote locations in all weather conditions. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal; confident engaging with school administrators. Experience with B2B customer support and CRM database tracking. Strong problemsolving, negotiation and interpersonal skills. Commitment to professional development.
