2025-2026 Canada Operations Co-op FALL POSTING Position: 2025-2026 Canada Operations Co-op FALL POSTING Primary Location: Fort Saskatchewan (AB, CAN), Alberta, Canada We are seeking exceptional Undergraduate and Graduate level Engineering students for Co-op opportunities in Dow Canada Operations to start a work assignment during the upcoming terms in the next calendar year: Fall (Autumn): start date Sept 2026 ABOUT OPERATIONS The Operations function within Dow is comprised of four focus areas: Manufacturing, Technical Expertise & Support (TES), Environmental, Health & Safety Operations (EH&S), and Emergency Services & Security (ES&S). ABOUT YOU Your job will include a broad range of responsibilities in a variety of work settings such as chemical plant safety and environmental performance, process operation, optimization, modification, maintenance, and technology implementation. Engineers must use sound technical judgment to enable safe and efficient plant operations. ABOUT THE JOB Youll work either a 4, 8, 12, or 16month term (8, 12, or 16 months preferred) provided your performance is satisfactory. Additional work terms beyond the initial period are contingent upon your endofterm evaluation, slot availability, and school requirements. ASSIGNMENT LOCATIONS Fort Saskatchewan (near Edmonton) AVAILABLE COOP POSITIONS Mechanical Engineer Key Roles: Production, Hardware Design, Maintenance/Reliability, Project Controls, or Improvement Engineer. Responsibilities include manufacturing process troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, yield and process improvements, waste reduction, safety enhancements, process control, cost optimization, project management, equipment design, and new technology implementation. Electrical Engineer Key Roles: Production, Hardware Design, Maintenance/Reliability, Project Controls, or Improvement Engineer. Responsibilities include power plant production operations, predictive maintenance, failure analysis, MCC/Transformer/Switchgear design, electrical instrumentation troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, process improvements, safety enhancements, motor control, cost optimization, project management, equipment design, and new technology implementation. Chemical/Petroleum Engineer Key Roles: Production, Process, Process Automation, Project Controls, or Improvement Engineer. Responsibilities include manufacturing process troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, yield and process improvements, waste reduction, safety enhancements, process control, cost optimization, project management, equipment design, and new technology implementation. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemical, Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental/Civil or Material Science/Metallurgical Engineering. A minimum requirement for this Canadabased position is the ability to work legally in Canada without company sponsorship. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Prefer students who have completed their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of academic studies. Active participation and leadership in extracurricular activities and oncampus organizations. A preferred GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or equivalent on a 100% scale at your current Canadianbased university. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Outstanding work ethic and leadership potential. Previous coop experience is a plus. Enrolled in an Engineers Canadaaccredited program. CONTINGENCIES Reliable attendance is an expectation of every Dow employee.
