Our FYidoctors - York Campus clinic is looking for a Practice Coach I / Optician to fill an existing vacancy. The role is fulltime, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with one evening shift per week. Summer hours will vary. In this role, youll be pivotal in driving operational excellence, fostering a patientfocused environment, and delivering exceptional vision and eyewear experiences. Youll empower staff, optimize clinic performance, and enhance the lives of patients. What Youll Do Lead daily clinic operations to deliver exceptional patient experiences and alignment with company strategy, goals, and values Coach and mentor team members to enhance their skills, performance, and knowledge Collaborate with Regional Coach to strengthen leadership capabilities and achieve clinic objectives Build and inspire motivated, highperforming teams aligned with organizational goals Foster a positive, collaborative work environment by providing clear direction and cultivating a shared vision Motivate and influence team members by empowering them, creating enthusiasm, and gaining support to achieve clinic objectives Foster open communication through active listening and promoting a transparent, trustbased culture Drive practice development by improving procedures, implementing initiatives and optimizing patient care and clinic performance Champion company initiatives, evaluate their effectiveness, and implement best practices to strengthen and enhance the brand Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive patient experience and creating value for every patient Educate patients on eyewear options tailored to their lifestyle, ensuring optimal value and quality Guide patients in selecting eyewear that combines style with optimal vision Perform eyewear repairs and adjustments to ensure proper fit and comfort Support clinic operations by performing additional duties as required What You Bring College degree or equivalent experience 2-4 years of management or supervisory experience Minimum one year of experience in an optical setting Registered Optician in Ontario Previous experience in customer service and retail preferred Understanding of operations, processes, and business performance Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite Proven ability to inspire, coach, and mentor a team while driving organizational goals and delivering exceptional patient experiences A collaborative, adaptable, and proactive team player with a growth mindset, able to manage changing priorities effectively Excellent organizational, time management and multitasking skills Outstanding oral and written communication skills Ability to multitask and thrive in a fastpaced environment Knowledge of optical theory and eyewear merchandise is considered an asset How Youll Benefit Competitive wages including quarterly bonuses (for qualifying clinics) A comprehensive benefits package that includes outstanding optical coverage Rapid and continued growth, ensuring a constantly challenging and rewarding environment A workplace culture that fosters a sense of collaboration Ongoing training and development opportunities to help you develop your career Compensation FYihealth group aims to create a comprehensive rewards package to attract and retain top talent. The expected compensation is $63,900 $79,900 annually, considering experience, skills, and qualifications. Base pay is just one component of our overall Total Rewards offering.
