Overview The Departments of Medical Imaging at St. Michaels Hospital (SMH) and the University of Toronto are recruiting a full-time, fellowship-trained academic diagnostic neuroradiologist to join the Neuroradiology Division. The successful candidate must be eligible for a full-time clinical academic appointment at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto. The anticipated start date is July 1, 2026. Responsibilities Interpret neuroradiology studies across modalities (plain film, CT, MR) and procedures (lumbar puncture and myelography). Join a division that provides CT and MRI services to a strong referral base in neuro-oncology, neurology, neurovascular, spine, skull base, and general neurosurgery, and supports a busy multidisciplinary neurointerventional service. Contribute to clinical activity, teaching, and research; participate in University of Toronto academic programs and train medical students, residents, and Neuroradiology fellows. Collaborate within multi-disciplinary clinical, education, and research programs at St. Michaels Hospital. Engage in teaching and/or research strengths as determined by the academic position description. Qualifications MD or equivalent; board-certified or board-eligible in Diagnostic Radiology with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or international equivalent; eligible for medical licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Ontario. Preference for completion of a two-year RCPSC-accredited fellowship in neuroradiology or equivalent experience; completion of subspecialty exams is desirable. Desirable experience: quantitative MRI analysis (e.g., DTI, perfusion imaging), pulse sequence optimization for clinical/research neuroimaging, functional imaging, neurovascular imaging; PET-CT experience (amyloid brain PET for dementia) would be an asset. Details Academic rank and salary commensurate with qualifications and experience; estimated income range of $400,000 to $600,000 per annum full-time, with potential for increased salary commensurate with experience and credentials. St. Michaels Hospital is a 600-bed tertiary care and Trauma Centre; affiliated with Unity Health Toronto. The department has multiple CT and MRI scanners and is engaged in translational research with the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute and the Keenan Research Centre.
