Join Our Team as a Service Account Manager ! Maxan is looking for a highly organized, self motivated Service Account Manager to join our Service Division. Reporting to the Service Manager, this role plays a key part in supporting Maxans Service team by proactively pursuing new business opportunities, while maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing clients. The Service Account Manager works in close collaboration with the Service Manager to ensure alignment on customer leads, business development efforts, and ongoing client communications. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment, enjoys multi-tasking and problem-solving, and is comfortable coordinating between customers and internal departments to keep relationship and the business growing. Our Service team handles a wide range of projects and calls, so the ideal candidate can effectively prioritize tasks, respond promptly to client needs, and stay organized while managing competing demands. What Youll Do: Proactively pursue new business opportunities using established strategies, while also identifying and developing prospects beyond existing pipelines. Represent the company at industry associations, events, and networking functions to promote Maxan and its service offerings. Coordinate and respond to client needs to support the preparation of quotations, deliver presentations, and drive sales opportunities. Collaborate with the Service Estimator to track, follow up on, and document service quotes and tenders within BidBoard. Actively promote the Maxan brand and Service Model in all client interactions and business development activities. What You Bring: 5+ years experience in a sales/business development role in the construction industry. Post-secondary education in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field is an asset. Post-secondary education in business or related field is an asset. Working knowledge of construction materials, methods, codes, and industry standards. Valid G drivers license and ability to attend construction sites and other events when required. Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills. Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
