Position Summary Working as a Produce Stocker at Walmart Canada is a great way to develop your skills in the retail industry. A Produce Stocker provides exemplary customer service by adhering to Walmarts core beliefs and values, maintains and zones the produce area, and assists with stocking and the sale of goods. Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced. Adheres to standards and policies for coldchain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sellby dates, and expiration dates. Adheres to foodsafety and handling procedures and follows sanitation and cleaning procedures. Follows proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels. Ensures the department is fully stocked and ready for business. Follows Health and Safety guidelines. Stocks merchandise/picks, downstocks if applicable, applies product protection when required, sets/gives modulars, including flex modulars, and sets new shelf caps.
