Job Summary The Logistics Team Lead is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all activities related to the receipt, and distribution of goods within the supply chain. This role involves managing a team to ensure efficient and accurate handling of inbound shipments and outbound deliveries, optimizing logistics processes, and maintaining high standards of compliance. The Team Lead collaborates with warehouse staff, transportation providers, and other departments to meet operational goals, improve workflow, and deliver exceptional customer service. Strong leadership, problemsolving skills, and logistics expertise are essential to drive continuous improvement and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment. Lead & supervise the transportation logistics team, providing guidance, training & performance management Assist in budgeting and forecasting transportation expenses Reporting monthly expenses Reporting monthly order progress Analyse transportation data and generate reports to identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with warehouse, inventory, and customer service teams to ensure smooth logistics operations Ocean Freight negotiations Resolve transportationrelated issues and delays promptly Monthend shipping management Compliance Management (auditing and disputing charges + ensuring minimal infractions) Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred Proven experience in transportation logistics, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or lead role Strong knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS) and routing software Excellent leadership, communication, and problemsolving skills Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple priorities Familiarity with transportation regulations and compliance requirements Takes initiative & has a strong sense of urgency.
