Our Team is growing and iN STUDIO has an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate Interior Designer to join our team. In this role, you will work with a team of creative and talented individuals on high-quality interior design projects. Your responsibilities will include supporting the production, review, and coordination of design activities, construction documentation, and contract administration. This is an opportunity to develop your skills across multiple areas of interior design with a supportive team and clients who value innovative, forward-thinking concepts that align with their vision. Responsibilities Demonstrate ability to produce, review, and coordinate design and construction documents using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp. Manage Contract Administration duties. Independently manage daily tasks under the guidance of a Senior Interior Designer. Delegate tasks and oversee a small team of Junior Designers. Manage communication within internal and external project teams. Communicate effectively with clients regarding project activities. Assist senior staff with client site visits and meetings. Coordinate with vendors and engineering sub-consultants to ensure compliance with building codes. Manage the completion of permit-ready drawings, including communication with sub-consultants. Maintain attention to detail in drawings and design activities. Communicate work progress and deliverables regularly to senior staff, ensuring proper handover and coverage when needed. Participate in industry events as a representative of iN Studio. Engage actively in firm activities. Successfully complete the NCIDQ examination. Qualifications, Skills, and Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as an Interior Designer in a design firm. Bachelors Degree in Interior Design, M. Arch/ID. NCIDQ, ARIDO (registered or candidate). LEED Certification is an asset. Proven experience with Corporate Workplace design projects, including renovation, new construction, and contract administration. Strong skills in test-fits and space planning. Technical proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office. Strong knowledge of Canadian codes and regulations, including OBC. Ability to work independently on projects. Passion for innovative design. Excellent presentation and communication skills. Team-oriented attitude.
