We have an exciting opportunity for a **Regional Standards Advocacy Manager**at UL Standards & Engagement**.** This is a hybrid opportunity based in our Ottawa, Canada office. will lead partnerships and market engagement strategy, to drive the adoption of safety standards in Canadian and international markets through education and advocacy, and advance the mission of UL Standards & Engagement (ULSE) to make the world safer, more secure, and sustainable. The Regional Standards Advocacy Manager will create a strong partnership with the existing ULSE standards development staff in Ottawa to identify and advance strategic opportunities to broaden the organizations presence, relevance and impact across the international safety standards environment, with a primary focus in Canada. With a strong understanding of industry and regulatory dynamics, The Regional Standards Advocacy Manager will develop and execute strategic engagement initiatives in Canada and partner with policymakers, regulatory authorities, standards bodies, and industry stakeholders to advance safety outcomes and strengthen the organizations influence within the international standards landscape.As a representative of ULSE and thought partner to senior leadership, the Regional Standards Advocacy Manager will amplify the organizations standards development work, in critical focus areas including battery safety, fire safety, electrification and sustainability, while cultivating strategic partnerships that expand impact and reinforce global harmonization of safety standards. , we expand the boundaries of safety science to create a more secure and sustainable world.
