Assistant / Associate / Full Professor - Academic Interventional Radiologist- St. Michael''s Hospital The Departments of Medical Imaging at St. Michaels Hospital (SMH) and the University of Toronto are recruiting a fulltime, fellowshiptrained, academic Interventional Radiologist. The successful candidate will be assigned an academic position description based on their teaching or research strengths and must be eligible for a fulltime clinical academic appointment at the rank of Assistant / Associate / Full Professor. The anticipated start date is July 1, 2026. Responsibilities The successful candidate will perform all types of vascular and nonvascular Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures, supervise trainees at the undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate levels, participate fully in the supervision, processing and interpretation of all vascular CT and MRI studies, and interpret diagnostic radiology studies (Xray, ultrasound, CT and MRI). The candidate will also cover the divisions acute oncall roster, participate in radiology resident rounds, attend multidisciplinary team meetings, and engage in continuous quality improvement, research and teaching. Qualifications MD or equivalent, completion of residency training in Diagnostic Radiology and fellowship training in Interventional Radiology, or an accredited Interventional Radiology residency. Preference for Interventional Radiologists with additional diagnostic imaging fellowship training in Abdominal Imaging. Experience in interventional oncology, pain management interventions, pulmonary AVM embolisation, transperineal prostate biopsy, and reporting chest CT and spine MRI/CT are assets. Evidence of excellence in teaching and/or research is required. Must be eligible for medical licensure in Ontario and certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or equivalent. Benefits Academic rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience. The salary range exceeds $200,000CAD per annum for a fulltime equivalent, with additional opportunities for salary increases linked to experience and academic credentials.
