The Oncology Senior Manager Clinical (Remote) is accountable to provide a clinical perspective and patient care expertise to ensure consistent and quality delivery of program services for the oncology business unit. The Senior Manager brings experience in patient care delivery to support the design and daily operations of patient support programs, providing clinical advice to escalations from the Reimbursement team, and applying firsthand knowledge to all patienttouch components such as scripting, FAQ, portal design, surveys and questionnaires. What you will do Act as subjectmatter expert in the oncology patient journey and contribute as an individual to a crossfunctional program team. Share oncology therapeutic knowledge through training and feedback mechanisms to program team members. Stay up to date on patient care trends and treatment pathways in the oncology healthcare landscape. Serve as an internal consultant in the development of oncology program resources, ensuring they meet client and patient needs. Collaborate with Directors of Clinical services to improve quality of care, strengthen financial performance, and enhance patient and professional satisfaction. Work crossfunctionally across SHN teams, including within the clinical team. Act as a subjectmatter expert in business development opportunities. Participate in projects, committees or task forces to improve SHN services and programs. Identify, develop and implement processes and metrics to support and evaluate delivery of patient services. Participate in quarterly business reviews and operational meetings, providing strategic insights on each program. Support clinical quality priorities such as audits, quality monitoring, nonconformance and incident management. What You Will Need Unrestricted license to practice as a nurse in Canada. BScN preferred; alternatively a combination of education and experience considered. Three to five years of experience in oncology or hematology care. Completion of the de Souza Standardized Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Course or equivalent; advanced oncologynursing credentials (e.g., CON(C), McMaster University Oncology Nursing Certificate, Mohawk College Oncology Certificate) preferred. Knowledge of Canadian and provincial health systems, reimbursement landscapes, and specialty pharmacy services. Previous Patient Support Program experience or experience as a Drug Access Navigator is an asset. Excellent assessment, communication, critical thinking and decisionmaking skills. Proficient in computer use; excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent customer service skills. Understanding of SDM Specialty Health Network policies, legal considerations and professional ethics. Proficient in English; bilingual French/English is an asset. Customer relationship and account management skills with direct client interaction. Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask and adapt to a fastpaced, changing environment with multiple priorities.
