Plant Operator page is loaded## Plant Operatorlocations: Calgary, Alberta, Canadatime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R05012Your professional transformation starts hereThis job is for you!**We are looking for a production operator to join our team in Calgary!**The production operator purpose is to transfer incoming raw product from tanker trucks and operate specialized equipment to further process the raw material into a dried finished product under strict guidelines that is packaged for shipment.**Why Join Sanimax :*** Competativew hourly wage starting at 27.55$ with an increase to 28.07$ after 3 months.* Progressive wage scale from 27.55$ up to 37.13$* Steady and prdicable work schedule; working twelve hour shifts on a day and night rotation.* Day shift hours are from 6h00 - 18h00 and night shift from 18h00 - 6h00* Team work and collaborative work environnement**Duties and responsibilities:*** Unloading of animal blood with the use of hoses and pumps;* Lab testing of incoming animal blood to ensure that it meets operational guide lines;* Prepare and clean the tanker using an automated and manual washing system;* Separation, Concentration and Drying of raw product;* Bagging of finished product in powder format, while wearing protective mask.* Carrying and pilling 25 kg (55 lbs) bags of finished products or chemicals.* Operate specialised equipment to further process the finished product for shipment.* Follow samples procedures for third party lab tests.* Clean any process spill (animal blood and similar product)* Monitor and record process data on a computer* Documentation: maintain all required documentation related to their duties.* House Keeping: Clean equipment and floors are per process and house keeping rules.**Qualifications:*** Grade twelve education or equivalent* Previous experience as an equipment operator* Knowledge in HACCP* Ability to work under minimal supervision* Work in a multi-cultural team environment* Basic computer skills* Speaks both French & English**Physical requirements:*** Standing for extended periods of time* Ability to lift 55 Lbs repetitively* Be in good physical condition**Give meaning to your career and help us make a difference: become a transformation champion!***Thank you for your interest in joining our team.
