Youll: Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring optimal efficiency and safety. Lead, coach, and develop a highperforming team. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Track performance metrics and implement best practices for continuous improvement. Manage budgets and optimize resource allocation. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations. Drive sustainability efforts, supporting Draxs lowcarbon mission. Prepare and present reports on plant performance to senior management. What youll bring: To excel in this vital role, youll need: Bachelors degree in engineering is optional, operations management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Proven experience in plant or manufacturing management, preferably in the energy or heavy industrial sector. Strong leadership and people management skills with experience in leading diverse teams. Indepth knowledge of production processes, safety regulations, and environmental standards. Excellent problemsolving, decisionmaking, and organizational skills. Experience in managing budgets, resources, and financial performance. A commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
