Position Mechanical Plumbing Designer Buildings Mechanical team, Vancouver Responsibilities Design and layout plumbing systems for building projects using sound engineering judgment. Provide technical support to project teams and Project Managers throughout all project phases. Ensure designs comply with the BC Plumbing Code and other applicable standards. Produce highquality 3D models and drawings using Revit and AutoCAD. Conduct onsite mechanical investigations, audits, and reviews as required. Prepare technical reports, specifications, and field review documentation. Participate in client and project team meetings to ensure successful project delivery. Qualifications Diploma from a technical college in mechanical technology or a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering. 1+ years of relevant design experience in plumbing systems design. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP with the ability to model complex plumbing systems. Knowledge of BC Plumbing Code and applicable standards. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a consulting environment. Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problemsolving.
