The Role: Carlsberg Retail Sales Representative Kitchener-Waterloo/Guelph 30 HRS/Week $21/hour Vacancy Status: This position is for an existing, open vacancy Position Summary: Our client The Carlsberg Group, one of the worlds leading brewery companies, has a rich heritage dating back to 1847. Your role is to identify business development opportunities to drive sales within an assigned geographical territory. What Youll Be Doing Every Day: Managing a territory of Convenience & Gas outlets, with the possibility of expanding to other retailers such as grocery, The Beer Store & LCBO accounts to drive sales and execution for the Carlsberg family of brands Representing Carlsberg brands in a professional manner by providing retail customers with the best service Working with your Manager to set territory goals based on company objectives and developing strategies to meet and/or establish targets Developing customer relations to become a trusted advisor Introducing new products and promotional events into the market Leveraging selling skills to solicit orders Closing distribution gaps by confirming correct shelf tags are present in compliance with account listing Ensuring supply availability through merchandising product and checking order / inventory status Negotiating space for and building displays to maximise points of interruption and confirming and correcting previously agreed display implementations Using sales tools provided to identify opportunities & gaps and determine action plans to drive sales, improve distribution, recognise underperforming categories, and increase overall profitability in your territory Recognising and utilising regional sales trends in order to maximise instore performance Providing feedback and insight on retail conditions and/or issues as they are encountered Other duties as required Your Experience: Ideally 13 years of territory sales and merchandising experience in CPG or at C&G Superior communication and presentation skills Amazing relationshipbuilding skills Strong selling skills Strong attention to detail Ability to influence/lead change Strong personal drive, positive attitude and excellent problemsolving skills are essential Capacity for fast learning, careful strategic planning and ability to selfsupport with minimal supervision in a fastpaced environment Other Requirements: The ability to lift and move up to 25pounds Full access to a reliable vehicle Highspeed internet with WiFi at home The ability to store some supplies at home and transport them in your vehicle Some overnight travel may be required in remote areas #J-18808-Ljbffr
