What Youll Do Efficiently pick and assemble orders from various temperature areas with great care and quality in mind to achieve On Time delivery to customers. Pack orders with attention to detail, distinguishing between similar named products, exact quantity, correct product codes. Ensure that products picked are of the highest quality (e.g., no damaged products, freshest product selection). Correctly document and label all orders using pick slips, packaging details, shipping labels, etc. Optimize tote fill by packing orders in a spaceefficient manner while still ensuring product quality standards are maintained. Balance fulfillment responsibilities with customer interaction and offering service, supporting issues to resolution. Maintain strict adherence to safety and food hygiene standards, keeping the work area clean, immediately cleaning spills and debris, ensuring totes are clean and void of debris; operate material handling equipment safely and perform all safety preinspection checks. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting changes to operational procedures, productivity standards, efficiencies, customer satisfaction, safety, working conditions and quality standards; demonstrate flexibility in adjusting to work assignments based on customer requests and daily delivery schedules.
