Tourism Information Officer (2 Positions) STUDENT POSITIONS The Trent Hills Chamber of Commerce, Campbellford ON, is seeking two enthusiastic and community-minded students to join our team as Full Time Tourism Information Officers for the 2026 summer season. This is an excellent opportunity for high school or post-secondary students interested in tourism, customer service, community development, or event support. Position Overview Tourism Information Officers provide front-line service at the Trent Hills Visitor Centre, assisting visitors and residents by sharing information about local attractions, events, accommodations, and dining. Job Duties: Supporting marina services, including overnight boating registrations and kayak rentals using an online system Maintaining cleanliness of public washrooms and boater shower facilities Updating tourism and business databases Restocking visitor guides and promotional materials Assisting with tourism marketing and outreach initiatives Positions may be tailored to support individual learning goals and career interests. Experience with water safety or paddling is considered an asset. Qualifications: Familiarity with Trent Hills and surrounding area Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Organizational skills and attention to detail Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment Eligibility (Canada Summer Jobs Program) Additional Information: Number of Positions: 2 Start Dates: (to be confirmed) Duration: 8 weeks Wage: $18.00 per hour Location: 51 Grand Road, Campbellford Position Requirements for Canada Summer Jobs Program: Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or a person granted refugee status in Canada Be legally entitled to work in Canada Equity and Inclusion The Trent Hills Chamber of Commerce is committed to fostering an inclusive and welcoming workplace.
