TSG STAFFING SERVICES is currently recruiting a FACILITIES ENGINEER (Mechanical) for an opportunity in the Greater Medicine Hat Area in an Operating Plant environment. Job Description Lead and perform Fitness-For-Service (FFS) evaluations for piping and stationary equipment, including review and oversight of third-party FFS engineering Provide piping design and mechanical integrity support to operating facilities, with a strong site-based focus Support technical needs of maintenance and turnaround planning Perform and/or support root cause analyses (RCA) in alignment with established reliability and RCA standards Support operations and maintenance departments with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to stationary equipment Develop maintenance strategies on a facility-wide approach to consolidate maintenance routines Oversight of structural analysis completed by third-party engineering Provide technical mentorship for Engineers-in-Training (EITs) Job Requirements 8+ years of relevant mechanical experience with oil & gas or petrochemical facilities Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Professional Engineer registered with APEGA for a minimum of 5 years Strong hands-on experience in piping design and Fitness-For-Service (FFS) evaluations Technical experience and training with pressure vessel and piping codes Outstanding organizational, attention to detail and problem-solving skills Communication, leadership, and mentorship skills Pay rates will be based on experience and current market standards.
