Overview Quality Inspector II will be responsible for preparing in-process and finished welded fittings for leak and hydrostatic testing, ensuring compliance with internal quality manuals and applicable industry codes & standards. Key responsibilities include inspecting units for defects, accurately documenting results, and managing non-conforming products in accordance with established procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to quality, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain precise records to support the high standards of manufacturing excellence of Thermon. Duties & Responsibilities Independently identify and prioritize tasks based on the production schedule. Conduct thorough quality inspections on various hydronic units and electric cores using standardized checklists and reporting tools. Manage products with a strong focus on quality, including identifying and properly handling non-conforming items. Accurately complete and maintain test reports and inspection records. Safely operate a jib crane to carry out handling and positioning components during testing and inspection. Key Characteristics, Competencies And Skills Basic understanding of ISO 9001 quality system requirements related to inspection processes and documentation. Basic understanding of welding principles and weld defects is preferred. Minimal supervision and enjoy working with moderate level of direction. Ability to organize and prioritize workload. Able to listen to directions and follow through. Able to perform in a high-volume, results-focused work environment. Able to quickly learn basic technical concepts and product applications.
