What You''ll Do Efficiently pick and assemble orders from various temperature areas with great care and quality in mind to achieve On Time delivery to customers. Pack orders with attention to detail, including distinguishing between similarly named products, exact quantity, and correct product codes. Ensure that picked products are of the highest quality (i.e., no damaged items, freshest product selection, etc.). Correctly document and label all orders through interpretation and understanding of documentation including pick slips, packaging details, and shipping labels. Optimize tote fill by packing orders in a spaceefficient manner while maintaining product quality standards. Balance fulfillment responsibilities with customer interaction and offer service, including supporting problems to resolution. Adhere strictly to safety and food hygiene standards, keeping a clean and hygienic work area, promptly cleaning spills and debris, and ensuring totes are free of debris before packing; operate material handling equipment safely and complete required safety preinspection checks. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting changes to operational procedures, productivity standards, efficiencies, customer satisfaction, safety, working conditions, and quality standards; demonstrate flexibility in completing or adjusting to work assignments based on customer requests and meeting daily delivery schedules.
