Toromont Reman is looking for a Technical Communicator to join our team in Bradford! The Technical Communicator will provide valuable support to our Heavy Equipment Technicians and product support staff through top technical expertise on our Caterpillar Product Line. Pay Type: Full Time, Permanent Compensation: $69,520 - $86,900 As a Reman Technical Communicator, YOU will experience: Working within one of the safest organizations in the industry where your safety and well-being are our most important priority Working for the best in class equipment dealer and with the premium Caterpillar brand Opportunities to continuously Learn, Grow and Develop with our Toromont team through our internal Training teams that are geared for your success Competitive total rewards including: wages, benefits, and premiums (as eligible) In a typical day, YOU will: Provide technical support to the Toromont Cat service operations; including after sales service, shop, rental, sales, parts, branches & customers Be the prime point of contact between the service departments and Caterpillar Review the product problems for the products under their responsibility and propose solutions Perform failure analysis, identify the root cause of failure and produce reports Write site visit reports and technical reports, as needed Provide technical support for the various special projects Help with the application and understanding of the manufacturers warranty policies Develop & maintain a solid technical knowledge of the products sold by Toromont Cat Provide regular technical updates to the technicians that repair and maintain the products under their responsibility Inform Caterpillar about new product problems and work with the various groups at Caterpillar to resolve those problems and to improve the products Actively participate in PPM (Product Problem Management) initiatives Periodically provide technical seminars, training sessions, and create technical documentation as required Must-haves for this role: A Heavy Equipment License or equivalent experience in the Technical Field/Heavy Equipment Industry Highly safety conscious with a minimum of 5 years practical experience diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing Cat Heavy Equipment About Toromont Reman Toromont Reman helps you maximize your investment in equipment.
