We are currently seeking a Client Services and Building Coordinator for our office located in Hamilton, Ontario. Duties and Responsibilities Support OAHSs mission and vision and contribute to the achievement of the corporate strategic plan; Contribute to division and organization key performance indicators; Assist in all administrative aspects of direct client services & building coordination, including phone support, building and property maintenance, tenant movein and moveouts, and program compliance; Schedule property inspections while maintaining data integrity in the OAHS database; Request quotes using field scopes and create associated Purchase Orders, adhering to OAHS procurement and contractor selection processes; Follow up and manage contractors regarding issued work, timelines, invoice and payment processing; Follow up with tenants, contractors and appropriate staff regarding maintenance work orders and update notes daily, and respond to and resolve maintenance complaints and issues; Maintain accurate records in the OAHS property management systems, KPIs, producing required reports, letters, and spreadsheets; Collaborate with the property manager to schedule and update administrative support, contractor coordination, purchase orders based on field inspections, and required followup inspections; Carry out property inspections, site visits and prepare written inspection reports and work specifications; Inspect work performed by contractors to ensure completeness and quality in accordance with specifications; Secure vacated units and complete associated documentation; Attend units with selected tenants to ensure all required information (e.g., building maintenance, smoke and CO detectors) is understood, including followups at specified intervals post occupancy; Prepare and deliver eviction notices to tenants as required and attend resulting Tribunal Hearings as a representative of OAHS; Complete annual unit inspections, facility condition assessments and other fieldrelated responsibilities using provided equipment; Attend regular site and building inspections of multiunit facilities and grounds; Other duties as required. Qualification and Skills Appreciation for Indigenous cultures and a values system that believes in assisting people; College Diploma/Certification in Construction/House Inspection, carpentry, plumbing, electrical or related programs, or a combination of education and experience; Demonstrated experience and knowledge in property inspection and maintenance; Experience with the Landlord and Tenant Board, social services, and other service sectors is an asset; Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a highly motivated, professional, and resultsoriented team; Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and other software products, including Property Management systems; Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to contribute to the achievement of team goals; Willingness to undertake ongoing training related to building inspections and technical training.
