Panel Manager Battle River Medical Ponoka (1.0 FTE Temporary) 12Mth Location: Battle River Medical Clinic, Ponoka Opening date: March 25, 2026 Closing date: Until suitable candidate found FTE: 1.0 Temporary - 12 months Estimated start date: June 2026 As an integral member of the primary care team, the Panel Manager identifies and tracks panels for physicians, assists with the proactive care of patients, and manages data and reporting relevant to the practice population. The Panel Manager assesses and communicates the need for patient health screening within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and plays a key role in coordination of screening, referrals, and appointments for patients. This is a technical role. Key Responsibilities Identifies, manages, and maintains patient panels for multiple physician members within a clinic (or multiple clinics) Assists with the proactive care of patients (both opportunistic and outreach) Reviews and documents patient needs regarding specific screening protocols Communicates the assessed need for patient health screening and other identified followup within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and to the physician Appropriately receives, responds, or redirects phone calls, electronic and paper mail and faxes related to the Panel Management role Responds to requests from PCN team members, Clinic Managers and physicians Education & Experience Medical Office certificate or related experience EMR experience preferred Quality improvement experience Skills & Competencies Outstanding computer skills including data entry, standardization of protocols and running queries in databases Excellent teamwork skills Ability to work independently in a busy office environment Professional oral and written communication skills Demonstrated critical thinking skills, including clinical judgment, problemsolving skills, diplomacy, and professionalism The ability to take initiative, be a selfstarter and selflearner Excellent organizational, prioritization and timemanagement skills A highlevel of compassion, respect, integrity, ethics, and confidentiality Ability to work independently; in a highly complex, unstructured, and dynamic environment Salary: Will be negotiated based on experience.
