Diamond Hotel Management o/a The Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel is looking for Rooms Manager - Accommodation Services to join our team here at The Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel We offer: Wage: $39.00 per hour Vacancy: 1 Hours per week: 35 - 40 hours per week Work location: 4236 36 street, Edmonton, AB, T9E 0V4 Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time Start date: As soon as possible Employment conditions: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift Responsibilities and Duties: Develop, implement, and enforce hotel policies and operational procedures to ensure smooth, efficient, and consistent daily operations Ensure compliance with hotel policies, operational standards, and safety regulations to maintain high-quality service and a safe environment for guests and staff Handle and resolve guest complaints, requests, and special requirements professionally, ensuring a consistently positive guest experience Assist guests with VIP services, special requests, or accessibility needs to enhance overall guest satisfaction Recruit, hire, train, and supervise front-of-house and housekeeping staff, maintaining a skilled and motivated team Evaluate staff performance and provide coaching and feedback to uphold service standards Plan, assign, and manage staff schedules and daily tasks to ensure optimal coverage and smooth operations Organize and lead staff training and development programs to build team capabilities and improve operational efficiency Coordinate and monitor maintenance, repairs, and preventive upkeep of guest rooms and facilities to ensure quality standards Organize, monitor, and maintain inventory of hotel supplies and equipment to ensure operational readiness Negotiate with vendors to procure supplies and materials under favorable terms, optimizing cost and resource management Facilitate agreements with clients for the use of rooms and facilities, supporting revenue and business operations Qualifications and Skills: Ability to communicate in English; Secondary (high) school graduation certificate 2 years to 3 years of relevant work experience Open availability including weekends and holidays; Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment; Work under pressure; Tight deadlines; Attention to detail; Combination of sitting, standing, walking; Standing for extended periods; Large workload Personal suitability: Client focus; Efficient interpersonal skills; Excellent oral communication; Flexibility, Initiative; Team player Benefits and Perks: Health benefits, Other benefits, Long term benefits Group insurance benefits, Life insurance Health care plan, Disability benefits, Dental plan, Vision care benefits, Paramedical services coverage Company events On-site parking, Free parking/747 Bus Pass Reimbursement Paid time off On-demand pay - get paid whenever you want!
