Were looking for an Industrial Millwright for our plant in Barrie, ON. You will play a key role in supporting production and leading maintenance programs in our Maintenance Team. This role involves installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems. JOB SUMMARY: Starting date: As soon as possible Number of positions to fill: 1 Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Location: 333 Bayview Drive, Barrie, ON. Work Schedule: Afternoons Shift (4:00pm 3:15am) Occasional overtime and weekend work Work conditions: Physical demands include standing, lifting, and working in confined spaces Benefits: All the perks of a large company, including a 4% employer contribution to your retirement plan and free virtual healthcare Role and responsibilities of the Industrial Millwright: Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on: Stamping presses Polyurethane foam injection systems Conveyor systems Torsion spring manufacturing equipment Troubleshoot and repair mechanical components including: Hydraulic and pneumatic systems Gearboxes, bearings, chains, and belts Work with PLC-controlled equipment and HMI interfaces to diagnose and resolve automation issues Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve equipment reliability and up time Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and parts usage Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies Support the Chemical delivery upload when required Required qualifications for our Industrial Millwright: Valid Millwright (433A) Certificate of Qualification in Ontario through the Apprenticeship program Minimum 3rd year Apprentice working towards (433A) Certificate with experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation Experience with PLCs and HMIs (Allen-Bradley preferred) Forklift/Overhead crane/Elevated work platform experience Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment Preferred Assets: Experience in garage doors or similar manufacturing industries Familiarity with forming equipment Employee Benefits Deferred Profit-Sharing Plan (DPSP) Registered Retirement Savings Plan Group Insurance Plan Medical and paramedical insurance Disability Insurance Life Insurance Employee & Family Assistance Program (EFAP) On-site parking facilities.
