Position Title PC12 EMS Captain Location Sudbury and Sioux Lookout, Ontario, Canada Employment Status Permanent Full Time Position Summary PC12 EMS Captains are responsible for all aspects of aircraft operation including crew and passenger safety. They must be able to fly in varying conditions, handle pressure, and be flexible and adaptable. Captains follow applicable policies and standard operating procedures and may be required to provide flight support at bases other than their home base. All pilots complete the companys training program and pass a PPC/IFT check conducted by a Transport Canada Inspector or approved check pilot. Qualifications Valid Canadian ATPL (issued by Transport Canada). Minimum of 2000 flight hours. Minimum of 500 hours of pilotincommand experience. Valid Group 1 IFR rating. Valid Category 1 medical certificate. Valid Canadian passport or ability to work in Canada and unrestricted ability to travel to the USA. Positive criminal record check and required immunisations. Prior PC12, EMS, and/or Northern Ontario flight experience is an asset. Hours and Location of Work Various shifts (standard 12hour) and overtime, including day, night, weekends, and statutory holidays in a 24/7 environment. Occasional overnight away from home base. Must live or relocate within close proximity to the assigned base and comply with CARs rest requirements between shifts, arriving within 1.0 hour of callout when on an oncall shift. May be required to use respiratory protective equipment and remain cleanshaven to ensure a proper facial seal.
