The Village of Stouffer Mills is pleased to offer an opportunity for an Assistant Director of Nursing Care to join our team. Key Details Status: Permanent FullTime Location: 1020 Hoover Park Drive, L4A 0K2, ON Expected start date: Late summer 2026 Salary range: $67,980 to $76,450 annually Role Overview As Assistant Director of Nursing Care, you will support and exemplify our residentcentered social culture, delivering highquality clinical care. You will be a key member of the leadership team, guiding the selfdirected nursing and clinical staff in implementing clinical programs, quality initiatives, and flexible living solutions. Your responsibilities include: Providing clinical leadership and guidance to multidisciplinary teams. Advocating for residents active participation in care decisions. Conducting training and education for clinical staff. Managing inventory and supplies. Tracking and analyzing care trends, and driving qualityassurance initiatives. Participating in villagewide committees and working groups. Fostering exemplary relationships with residents, families, and the village team to deliver holistic care. Required Qualifications Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario. Current Heart Safe Level of CPR certification. Minimum 3 years of experience leading and directing a department or teams in a healthcare setting. Commitment to our Village philosophy and values. Demonstrated caring and respectful attitude toward residents, families, and team members. Awareness of the physical, mental, and emotional demands of the role. Preferred (Not Required) Qualifications Experience in a LongTerm Care or Retirement Home setting. RNAO/RPNAO membership. MDS credential (optional, depending on village size). Knowledge of infection control practices, Workplace Hazardous Materials and Chemicals (WHMIS), and related health and safety procedures. Skill in operating common hand and power tools.
