Job Description

What is the Opportunity? Reporting directly to the HR Team Lead, the Human Resources Administrator will provide administrative and coordination support to the Utilities Human Resources and Operations teams. The role involves professional, clientcentered support within a fastpaced operational environment. What Youll Do Here Work closely with HR and payroll to ensure all employee lifecycle transactions are submitted accurately and within payroll deadlines (new hire paperwork, terminations, benefits, compensation changes, taxable benefits). Generate salary reports and maintain data accuracy and integrity. Investigate and answer employee pay inquiries, acting as a liaison between employees and the salary/hours payroll departments. Participate in data audits. Create new and adhoc HRIS reports as needed. Monitor vacation tracking and coordinate the endofyear vacation rollover process. Support drafting offer letters, onboard new employees, collect all new hire paperwork, submit IT requests, and secure software and hardware access prior to the employee start date. Schedule and coordinate orientations for all salary and hourly nonunion employees. Prepare newemployee orientation packages and assist in offboarding, including communication with payroll and IT. Act as liaison between HR, new hires, and managers regarding onboarding information. Participate in and lead continuous improvement initiatives. Backfill and assist other HR administrators with operational requests during absences or high work volume. Provide general administrative support to ensure HR4HR resources are maintained and the confidentiality of the HR client group is upheld. What You Bring To The Team Postsecondary education with a major in Human Resources or a related field. Experience working in a fastpaced operational environment (construction experience is an asset). Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple clients and deliverables. Experience with SAP and Success Factors is an asset. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate with various audiences, stakeholders and clients. Excellent problemsolving skills. Strong customer service skills with the proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members as well as internal and external stakeholders. Professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information. Demonstrated ability using MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Reason for Vacancy: New Pay Range: $50,000 $55,000 per year Individual pay is determined based on work location, education, experience, unique skills, job conditions, and other considerations such as certifications or specialized training.
