Join Our Team as a Field Service Specialist Work arrangement: Hybrid (3 days WFH) Compensation At S&C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members and are committed to transparency in our pay practices. The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $60,100 - $90,150. Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training. This position may also be eligible for S&Cs annual incentive plan (AIP). AIP amounts are variable and are dependent on both company and individual performance, subject to eligibility criteria. The target bonus percentage for this role is 4% of annual base earnings. The Field Service Specialist supports Project and Field Service operations across Canada within S&Cs Power Systems Solutions division. This role is responsible for scheduling and coordinating Field Service activities, optimizing resource utilization, managing customer support requests, and supporting Field Service team development. The position requires frequent collaboration with internal stakeholders, external customers, and crossfunctional teams using enterprise systems and business tools. Key Responsibilities Schedule, plan, and coordinate Canadian Field Service activities to ensure balanced workloads and high utilization of Field Service personnel. Own and manage all Field Service support requests, leading solutionfocused discussions to meet or exceed customer expectations. Coordinate multiple concurrent Field Service requests while meeting service-level agreements, timelines, and quality standards. Maintain availability for afterhours and weekend emergency support, as required. Communicate with customers and internal teams to ensure site readiness, including equipment deenergization, safety requirements, and sitespecific training coordination. Create, assign, update, and manage Salesforce Cases, Work Orders, and Service Appointments. Enter, maintain, and track Sales Orders in Oracle ERP. Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers to define job scope, technical requirements, scheduling needs, and responsibilities. Manage customerspecific operating and contractual requirements to ensure Field Service execution aligns with business expectations. Manage Field Service projects from initiation through closeout, including scope, schedule, and performance tracking. Monitor and manage Field Service project financial targets, including cost tracking and margin awareness. Develop proposals and quotes for Field Service activities in alignment with scope and customer requirements. Provide detailed job scopes and Field Service cost estimates to the Proposal Team within five business days of request. Track, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to utilization, service delivery, and financial performance. Coordinate and manage productrelated training schedules, materials, and logistics with internal technical teams to support customer requirements. Ensure compliance with all applicable company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Understand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rules. Work from the office 3-4 days per week (7.5 hours per day) to support operational engagement. Other responsibilities as assigned. What We Are Looking For High School Diploma or equivalent experience. Demonstrated experience in Field Service operations, service coordination, scheduling, project support, customer support, or a related operational role. Experience supporting or coordinating Field Service activities, including workforce scheduling, resource planning, or service request management. Ability to manage multiple concurrent service requests while meeting timelines, service expectations, and quality standards. Experience working with enterprise systems and business tools, such as Salesforce and Oracle. Working knowledge of Field Service project lifecycle activities, including planning, coordination, execution, and closeout. Experience preparing or supporting job scopes, service documentation, proposals, quotes, or cost estimates is considered an asset. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with customers, Field Service personnel, engineers, and project teams. Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to lead solutionfocused discussions. Understanding safety standards, company policies, and compliance requirements within a Field Service or industrial environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams. Ability to work in a hybrid work environment and maintain availability for afterhours and weekend emergency support, as required. Five (5) years of relevant experience in Field Service, technical services, or operations support is considered an asset, but is not mandatory. Physical Effort Normal or frequent minor physical effort required for the day-to-day activity in the workplace. May involve standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs and lifting/moving/using objects or equipment up to 20 lbs.
