Reference Number: 30833 Jardeg is recruiting Pipefitter Journeypersons to join the Heartland Constructors team at the Imperial Oil Kearl site in Fort MacKay, Alberta. This is a Turnaround event, starting on May 12th going until June 2, shifts are 12 hours, both days and nights on a 24/4 or a 6/1 rotation. Charter flights are provided from Calgary or Edmonton to the site. While working on-site, workers will be staying at the Wapasu camp which will provide hot meals, lodging, workout facilities, WiFi and much more. The positions are for our spring TURN AROUND STARTING IN MAY 12 to June 2 . Responsibilities Demonstrate knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving and bending of pipes, valves and fittings. Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes. Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair pressurized piping systems. Hydrotest and install fabricated pipe spools within structural steel modular assemblies, adding designed supports as required. Use testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors. Maintain all tools, work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion. Read and interpret client and company supplied construction fabrication drawings and specifications. Redline update drawings to an asbuilt condition. Follow various Heartland and Client policies & procedures including adherence to requirements of ISO 90012000.
