About PAL Airlines 27 destinations in Newfoundland & Labrador, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Quebec, and Ontario Charter destinations all over Canada and Eastern North America Fleet of Dash 8-100, Dash 8-300, Dash 8-Q400 Four (4) crew base locations: St. Johns, Halifax, Montreal and Kitchener Qualifications Hiring minimums for Captains: an ATPL and 500 PIC hours Valid Transport Canada Commercial Pilots License Valid Transport Canada Group 1 Instrument Rating Valid Transport Canada Multi Engine rating Valid Transport Canada Class 1 Medical Must have one of the following: valid ATPL; SAMRA & SARON; or IATRA written and passed in the past two years Must be able to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) Must hold a current passport at time of hire Must be able to travel without restrictions to the United States Must be able to obtain and maintain a C-1/D transit/crewmember visa Must be legally entitled to work in Canada Must have completed a high school diploma Must meet Transport Canada English proficiency standard (level 4) Preferred qualifications Applicants with two crew multi-engine turbine experience Benefits At PAL Airlines, we know that compensation isnt the only factor in choosing a company.
