Summary Lecturer / Assistant Professor - Emergency & Trauma Radiologist Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre University of Toronto Department of Medical Imaging, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre St. George campus. Two (2) fulltime radiologists are needed in the Emergency & Trauma Radiology Division (ETRD). The anticipated start date is October1,2026 or sooner if possible. The posting deadline is May31,2026. Responsibilities Interpret acutecare imaging 24/7 from a 6station reading room embedded in the ED. Provide nightshift and oncall coverage. Interpret trauma imaging for both ED patients and admissions to specialty programs (Tory Trauma, Odette Cancer, Schulich Heart, Hurvitz Brain). Contribute to all areas of subspecialty emergency and trauma imaging. Support daytime reporting of acutecare and outpatient studies from other divisions. Participate in undergraduate medical education, continuing medical education, residency and fellowship programs as a clinicianteacher. Qualifications Eligible for an academic appointment at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto. Hold a Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada fellowship in Diagnostic Imaging or an international equivalent. Eligible for medical licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Minimum one year of dedicated fellowship training in Emergency and Trauma Radiology after residency. Experience performing subspecialty work in Emergency and Trauma Imaging. Benefits & Compensation Academic rank and salary commensurate with qualifications.
