Territory Sales Associate Location: Annapolis Valley/Yarmouth area, Nova Scotia. Company: Hershey Canada Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Hershey Company, manufacturers, distributes, and sells confectionery, snack, refreshment, and grocery products in Canada. Major Canadian brands include OH HENRY! Hersheys Kisses, Brookside, Pot of Gold, Jolly Rancher, Reeses, Twizzlers, Hersheys, Skor, Chipits, and Icebreakers. Position Summary The Territory Sales Associate (TSA) sells and ensures bestinclass merchandising, including building displays, packing out product, and replenishing secondary displays while maintaining salability of all authorized Hershey items. What will you do? Sell and maintain 100% distribution of all authorized Hershey Items in the assigned territory, ensuring flawless retail execution of Headquarter Sales and Merchandising Plans. Achieve merchandising objectives through the effective use of permanent secondary displays and other display vehicles established within the Retail Execution Plan. Report weekly activity, expenses, competitive activity, account changes, promotions, and all administrative functions within the assigned territory. Report daily activities using tablets and submit upon completion of each day. Manage sales territoryvarying by size, number of retailers, and location. Ensure store appearance and merchandise displays align with plans, sales history, and new receipts. Consult with buyers, marketing, and sellers on product positioning and presentation plans. Create and coordinate visual presentation of merchandise, including store layout and displays. Coaching sales staff on merchandise to enable them to suggest appropriate items to meet the customer''s needs. What We Need 13 years of sales experience with knowledge of sales techniques in consumerpackaged goods. Knowledge of and ability to develop and use strategies, practices, and tools for communicating with retail customers and managing daytoday operations of retail stores. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Valid drivers license and good standing driving record. Personal auto insurance with at least the governmentset minimum liability. Residence within the boundaries of the assigned territory. Strong analytical, organizational, and timemanagement skills. Strong oral and written communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently within a team environment. Detailoriented with fresh thinking. Proficiency in MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with iPad technology. Willingness to be part of a highperforming team that works hard and has fun. Qualifications Postsecondary education and/or equivalent work experience. Additional Details and Requirements This is a parttime position (28hrs, 4days a week; e.g., 7hours per day, Monday to Thursday). Personal vehicle access is required and mileage rates will be paid.
