sno architecture is a young, design-driven firm based in the North, and were on the hunt for an Intern Architect to join our team. Our studio is small, collaborative, flexible, and deeply invested in design. We work on a diverse mix of projects, including mixed-use urban buildings, residential, commercial, and cultural work across a range of scales. Youll be joining a studio where you wont be siloed, youll be in the room, in the drawings, and on site, contributing to real projects from day one. Youll be working directly with Principals and senior staff, with mentorship that supports your development toward licensure and professional growth. Intern Architect (recent graduates and registered architects also considered) Graduate of a Canadian architecture program 03+ years of experience in a Canadian architecture firm (we care more about curiosity and attitude than exact years) Strong design and communication skills Detail oriented, selfdirected, and motivated Able to manage multiple priorities without losing your mind (or your lineweights) Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp is highly beneficial, youll likely jump right into drawing and design tasks Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and visualization software (e.g., Twinmotion) is an asset Interest in both design and the broader process of making buildings If you dont check every box but feel like a strong fit, we still want to hear from you. What Youll Be Doing Youll be involved in a wide range of project work, including: Concept design and earlystage thinking Participating in design discussions and having your ideas heard, not just drafting in the background Client meetings and coordination Drawing production and technical development Site visits and constructionphase support Because were a small office, youll have exposure to all aspects of practice rather than being limited to a single role. Youll gain experience across all project phases (not just redlines), and take on meaningful responsibility as your experience grows.
