About CBI Healths Community Rehabilitation Services Our communitybased teams treat clients who have experienced mental stress injuries and motor vehicle accidents, focusing on a return to preaccident function. Occupational Therapists work in two key programs: Traumatic Psychological Injury OTs work with first responders and other workplace trauma survivors, conducting invivo exposure therapy, behavioral activation, trauma processing, coping strategies, and returntofunction interventions. The program incorporates evidencebased care and novel techniques such as virtual reality to achieve industryleading mental health outcomes. Complex Auto OTs assess and treat clients with musculoskeletal, orthopedic, cognitive, and psychosocial impairments related to motor vehicle accidents. Responsibilities include inhome and hospital discharge assessments, ergonomic assessments, concussion treatment, cognitive rehabilitation, mental health treatment, and comprehensive care from start to finish.
