This position has a term length of 2 years, with the possibility of renewal. Location - This role is hybrid with a mix of remote and in-person work at North Campus Edmonton. The Office of Advocacy and Wellbeing (OAW) within the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry is seeking a dedicated Financial Literacy Consultant to join our team. This position is the primary subject matter expert within the Faculty, tasked with helping medical learners navigate the unique and often high-stakes financial challenges during their education. A critical component of this role involves fulfilling national accreditation requirements related to financial aid and debt management counseling. In this role, you will provide direct, personalized support, engaging in confidential one-on-one consultations to help students assess their needs, manage debt, and create actionable plans for financial success. You will be responsible for the design and delivery of engaging financial literacy workshops and seminars, translating common learner challenges into proactive educational programming. You will build relationships with key partners across campus to facilitate integrated financial support and resource navigation for learners.
