Dougall Media, Thunder Bays only locally owned broadcast/multimedia company, has an exciting parttime opportunity to work 91-5 CKPR and Rock 94 as a Brand Ambassador. Brand Ambassadors are essential representatives of 91-5 CKPR and Rock 94. They are a reliable group of individuals who have specific interests in promotions, strong people skills, and would gladly approach strangers to strike up a conversation. The ideal Brand Ambassador is outgoing, enjoys a fun working environment, loves talking to people, and can work well in a team. Brand Ambassadors are called upon to represent 91-5 CKPR as the CKPR Summer of Fun Crew, and Rock 94 as the Rock Roadies at events around Thunder Bay, with shifts throughout the week and a heavier focus on weekends, evenings, and holidays. Responsibilities Represent and carry out station appearances at events, concerts, festivals, client locations, etc. Perform onlocation broadcast reports. Capture creative video footage of listeners at events for use in 915 CKPR and Rock 94 TV marketing, ensuring all participants sign a waiver and showcase station apparel. Comply with uniform standards. Arrive on time and ready to work with a positive attitude. Set up and break down event equipment, i.e. tables, tents, booths, banners, flags, etc. Follow directions and supervision from the Manager of Marketing & Promotions, the Coordinator of Marketing & Promotions, and the Events Coordinator. Communicate effectively with listeners, potential clients, sponsors, and anyone who approaches with inquiries. Understand the mission of every event and accomplish with professionalism. Reach out and engage with listeners and create a memorable experience and a positive image of the station you are representing. Be approachable and comfortable talking to strangers. Required Credentials & Skills Must have a G license and a reliable vehicle. Be a peopleoriented, friendly, respectful, and responsible individual with the ability to adjust to different environments and situations, be proactive and helpful. Must be able to lift/carry/setup a minimum 50 lbs of equipment on your own. Must have a flexible schedule and must be available on weekends/evenings/holidays. Reliable & punctual.
