Working to promote nursing excellence and uphold the highest professional standards, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for surgical patients throughout the perioperative continuum. The OR RN works closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate surgical care. The objective of the Registered Nurse is to provide safe and competent care through the application of perioperative nursing knowledge, technical expertise, and sound clinical judgment, while demonstrating professionalism, respect, and a commitment to patient safety. This role requires strong assessment abilities, advanced technical and organizational skills, attention to detail, and a dedication to maintaining aseptic technique and surgical standards.
