As our Property Product and Underwriting Manager , youll work directly with our leadership team to steer a growing and successful home insurance portfolio. With the Product and Underwriting team, you will manage existing products and underwriting guidelines and develop new ones. You will play a critical role in delivering on our customerfocused digital experience while remaining innovative, stable, and profitable. Your Responsibilities Monitoring portfolio performance and market trends. Developing suitable product, underwriting, and wording changes. Providing product, underwriting, and wording support to the Sales and Claims team. Managing internal resource materials, including user guides. Maintaining product and underwriting roadmap. Gathering related system requirements and coordinating system changes. Reviewing marketing content, including articles and press releases, for product and underwriting accuracy. Conducting interviews with media on product and underwriting matters. Liaising with partner carriers on product changes. Your Experience and Education Your experience and education helps ensure your success at Square One. For this role, you have: A degree in business, commerce, economics, or marketing or equivalent education plus work experience may be considered. 5 years of property insurance underwriting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. 2 years of product management or underwriting development experience. A high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to learn new technologies. Familiarity with project management and product development principles. A CAIB, CIP/ACIP, CRM or FCIP designation is preferred. Fluency in English; French is a desirable asset.
